Description

This Tzatziki Chicken & Veggie Naan Pizza is a quick and delicious twist on traditional pizza, combining the flavors of Mediterranean tzatziki sauce with fresh veggies, shredded chicken, and a blend of cheeses on a soft naan bread base. Perfect for a light yet satisfying meal ready in just 22 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Base & Sauces

  • 2 naan breads
  • ½ cup tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Protein & Cheese

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast (shredded or diced)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese

Vegetables & Garnish

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • ¼ cup red onion (thinly sliced)
  • Fresh parsley or dill (chopped, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base: Place the naan breads on a baking sheet to use as your pizza crusts, ready for toppings.
  2. Spread the sauce: Evenly spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of tzatziki sauce on each naan bread, creating a creamy and flavorful base layer.
  3. Add cheese: Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the tzatziki sauce to create the cheesy foundation for the toppings.
  4. Layer the toppings: Distribute fresh spinach leaves, cooked chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, and crumbled feta cheese evenly over each naan pizza.
  5. Bake the pizzas: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the assembled naan pizzas on the baking sheet for about 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the naan are golden and crispy.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley or dill. Serve with lemon wedges on the side to squeeze over the pizza for a fresh burst of flavor.

Notes

  • Use store-bought naan breads for convenience or make your own if preferred.
  • Tzatziki sauce can be homemade with yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and herbs, or purchased ready-made.
  • Adjust toppings to your preference; add olives or bell peppers for extra veggies.
  • If you prefer a crispier crust, you can lightly toast the naan breads before assembling.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your oven; watch for bubbly cheese and golden edges.
