Ingredients
Scale
Antipasto Ingredients
- 12 grape tomatoes
- 12 Kalamata olives
- 12 green olives
- 6 slices prosciutto, halved
- 6 slices salami, folded
- 12 pieces fresh mozzarella, 1 inch cubes (or mozzarella balls)
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 6 marinated artichoke hearts, drained and halved
Dressing
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Fold each slice of salami into quarters. Cut the mozzarella into 1-inch cubes if not using pre-formed mozzarella balls. Halve the artichoke hearts, ensuring pieces are not too small for skewering.
- Assemble Skewers: Thread one piece of each ingredient onto wooden skewers in any order or combination you prefer, layering grape tomatoes, olives, prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, basil leaves, and artichoke hearts.
- Make Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic glaze, dried basil, and kosher salt until combined.
- Finish and Serve: Drizzle the dressing over the assembled antipasto bites just before serving. Enjoy these fresh, flavorful appetizers immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute fresh mozzarella balls with cubed mozzarella if desired.
- Use balsamic vinegar if balsamic glaze is unavailable, though glaze adds a thicker, sweeter finish.
- These antipasto bites are best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 4 hours before serving.
- Feel free to customize the ingredients based on preferences or availability, such as adding pepperoncini or different olives.
- Wooden skewers can be soaked in water for 15 minutes beforehand to prevent burning if grilling.
