- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

- Add Wet Ingredients: Pour in the milk, maple syrup or honey, melted coconut oil or butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until you have a smooth batter with no dry pockets.
- Optional Add-ins: If desired, fold in a few chocolate chips, nut butter, or berries for added flavor and texture.
- Microwave Cooking: Microwave the mug cake on high power for 60 to 90 seconds, or until the cake has risen and the center is set but still moist. Watch closely to avoid overflow.
- Cool and Serve: Let the mug cake cool in the microwave for 1–2 minutes before eating directly from the mug or transferring to a plate.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave; keep an eye on it to prevent overflow.
- For a fudgier texture, reduce cooking time slightly.
- You can substitute mashed banana or unsweetened applesauce for the maple syrup/honey to adjust sweetness.
- Recipe is highly customizable—feel free to experiment with different protein powder flavors and add-ins.
