Ingredients
Scale
Fruits
- 4 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
- Juice of 1 lime (about 2–3 tablespoons)
Liquids & Sweeteners
- 2 1/2 cups water, divided
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar
Instructions
- Blend the Fruit & Sweeteners: In a blender, combine the fresh pineapple chunks, strawberries, 1 cup of water, agave nectar, and lime juice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and no large fruit chunks remain. Pause and scrape down the sides if needed to ensure an even blend.
- Strain the Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher or bowl. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to press and extract as much juice as possible, leaving the pulp behind for a smoother drink.
- Add Water and Mix: Stir in the remaining 1 1/2 cups of water into the strained juice. Mix well to combine. Chill in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice for a cool, refreshing beverage.
Notes
- Use ripe and fresh fruits for the best flavor.
- Adjust the amount of agave nectar based on your desired sweetness.
- For a chunkier drink, skip straining the juice.
- Serve over ice for extra refreshment.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
