Ingredients
Scale
For the Cocktail
- 2 oz non-alcoholic spirit or white grape juice (or another preferred base)
- 1 oz pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz triple sec or Cointreau (optional)
- ½ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
For Garnish and Glass
- Sugar (for rimming the glass)
- Lemon twist or pineapple slice (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Moisten the rim of a martini glass with a lemon wedge and dip it into sugar to coat the rim evenly. This adds a sweet and decorative touch to the cocktail presentation.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the non-alcoholic spirit or white grape juice, pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice, triple sec (if using), and simple syrup. This blend balances citrusy tartness with sweetness.
- Shake: Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled. This chilling step ensures a refreshing and crisp cocktail.
- Serve: Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared martini glass carefully to avoid disturbing the sugared rim.
- Garnish: Finish by adding a lemon twist or a slice of pineapple to the rim or inside the glass for a visually appealing and aromatic garnish.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of simple syrup based on your preferred sweetness level.
- Triple sec or Cointreau is optional and can be omitted for a fully non-alcoholic version.
- Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor and brightness.
- Chill your glass beforehand for an extra cold cocktail experience.
- For a frosted glass effect, freeze the glass briefly before preparing the cocktail.
