Description

Enjoy a delicious, shareable Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread that’s perfect as a cheesy appetizer or party snack. This fun twist on classic monkey bread features bite-sized biscuit dough pieces loaded with mozzarella, mini pepperoni, Parmesan, and Italian seasonings, all baked together for a golden, pull-apart treat served warm with savory marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough and Cheese

  • 2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Meat and Seasoning

  • 1 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Other Ingredients

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with nonstick spray or butter to ensure easy removal of the monkey bread after baking.
  2. Mix Ingredients: Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them in a large mixing bowl. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and melted butter. Toss everything together gently but thoroughly until all the biscuit pieces are evenly coated and the ingredients are well distributed.
  3. Assemble in Pan: Transfer the coated dough mixture to the prepared bundt pan. Gently press the mixture down to compact it slightly, but do not overly pack it to maintain the pull-apart texture.
  4. Bake: Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Bake until the top is golden brown and the dough is cooked through in the center.
  5. Cool and Serve: Allow the monkey bread to rest in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes so it settles and becomes easier to remove. Carefully invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate to release the monkey bread. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese over the top before baking.
  • Customize your monkey bread by mixing in chopped cooked sausage, bell peppers, or olives for added flavor and variation.
  • This dish is best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven or an air fryer for leftovers.
