Description

This Ninja Creami Protein Milkshake is a delicious and nutritious frozen treat that combines the convenience of protein powder with creamy ingredients like Greek yogurt and almond butter. Perfect for a quick post-workout snack or a healthy dessert, it blends rich flavors with smooth texture, easily customizable to suit your taste and dietary preferences.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional for Creaminess and Flavor

  • 1/2 banana (optional, for creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1–2 teaspoons cocoa powder (if using vanilla protein)
  • 1/2 cup low-fat Greek yogurt or cottage cheese (optional, for extra protein and creaminess)

Sweeteners (Optional)

  • 1–2 tablespoons sugar-free sweetener or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth to ensure even mixing and creamy texture.
  2. Freeze Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, making sure to freeze it flat for at least 12 hours until completely solid.
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: Remove the frozen pint from the freezer, insert it into your Ninja Creami machine, and select the “Milkshake” or “Soft Serve” function depending on your model.
  4. Adjust Consistency: If the shake is too firm after the first spin, add a splash of milk and then respin to achieve your desired creaminess.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Once smooth and creamy, pour the shake into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Use chocolate protein with peanut butter for a Reese’s-inspired shake, or vanilla protein with fruit for a fruity blend.
  • To create a thicker shake, add a few chunks of frozen banana before spinning in the machine.
  • Customize sweetness and consistency based on your protein powder type and personal preferences.
