- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
Milk Base
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions
- Prepare the coffee mixture: In a medium bowl, combine instant coffee, granulated sugar, and hot water in equal parts.
- Whip the coffee: Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the mixture vigorously for 2–3 minutes until it becomes thick, light, and fluffy, forming stiff peaks.
- Heat the milk (for hot latte): Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave until steaming hot but not boiling.
- Assemble hot latte: Pour the warm milk into a mug and spoon the whipped coffee topping over it carefully, creating a layered effect.
- Assemble iced latte (optional): Fill a glass with ice, pour in cold milk, and gently top with the whipped coffee foam. Swirl lightly before drinking.
- Garnish: Sprinkle ground cinnamon or cocoa powder on top of the whipped coffee if using, to add extra flavor and appeal.
Notes
- Maintain the 1:1:1 ratio of instant coffee, sugar, and hot water for easy scaling of the recipe.
- The whipped coffee topping can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- For best texture, whip until the mixture holds stiff peaks but is not dry.
- Use non-dairy milk alternatives such as almond, oat, or soy milk to accommodate dietary preferences.
- Optional garnishes like cinnamon or cocoa powder add a nice finishing touch and can enhance the flavor profile.
