Ingredients
Scale
Kielbasa
- 2 rings kielbasa, cut into 1” sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
- 1½ tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Creamy Mustard Sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped plus more for serving
Instructions
- Prep the Kielbasa: Cut the kielbasa into 1-inch pieces and score each piece once or twice in the middle without cutting all the way through. Place the pieces in a mixing bowl.
- Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the stone ground mustard, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined, then toss the kielbasa pieces in this mixture to coat thoroughly.
- Arrange in Air Fryer: Place the coated kielbasa pieces in the basket of your air fryer in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
- Air Fry: Cook at 400°F for 9 to 11 minutes until the kielbasa is nicely browned and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to promote even browning.
- Serve: Remove the kielbasa from the air fryer and transfer to a large serving platter. If cooking in batches, repeat until all pieces are air fried.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, whole grain Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and finely chopped chives until smooth and well combined.
- Plate and Garnish: Serve the air-fried kielbasa pieces with the creamy mustard sauce on the side. Sprinkle additional chopped chives over the top for a fresh finish and enjoy!
Notes
- Scoring the kielbasa helps the glaze penetrate and promotes even cooking.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake the kielbasa in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Use fresh chives for the best flavor in the creamy mustard sauce and garnish.
- This recipe serves 6 as an appetizer or snack.
