Description

This Easy Air Fryer Kielbasa recipe is a quick and delicious way to enjoy crispy, flavorful kielbasa bites with a creamy mustard dipping sauce. Perfect for snacking or entertaining, these air-fried sausage pieces are tossed in a tangy brown sugar and mustard glaze and paired with a creamy sauce enhanced with Worcestershire and fresh chives.

Ingredients

Scale

Kielbasa

  • 2 rings kielbasa, cut into 1” sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • 1½ tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Creamy Mustard Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped plus more for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep the Kielbasa: Cut the kielbasa into 1-inch pieces and score each piece once or twice in the middle without cutting all the way through. Place the pieces in a mixing bowl.
  2. Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine the stone ground mustard, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined, then toss the kielbasa pieces in this mixture to coat thoroughly.
  3. Arrange in Air Fryer: Place the coated kielbasa pieces in the basket of your air fryer in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
  4. Air Fry: Cook at 400°F for 9 to 11 minutes until the kielbasa is nicely browned and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to promote even browning.
  5. Serve: Remove the kielbasa from the air fryer and transfer to a large serving platter. If cooking in batches, repeat until all pieces are air fried.
  6. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, whole grain Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and finely chopped chives until smooth and well combined.
  7. Plate and Garnish: Serve the air-fried kielbasa pieces with the creamy mustard sauce on the side. Sprinkle additional chopped chives over the top for a fresh finish and enjoy!

Notes

  • Scoring the kielbasa helps the glaze penetrate and promotes even cooking.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake the kielbasa in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Use fresh chives for the best flavor in the creamy mustard sauce and garnish.
  • This recipe serves 6 as an appetizer or snack.
