Description

These Colorful Unicorn Jello Cups are a fun and vibrant dessert featuring layers of fruity Jello flavors mixed with creamy yogurt and coffee creamer. Perfect for parties or a whimsical treat, each cup is topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a twisty lollipop to resemble a magical unicorn horn.

Ingredients

Scale

Jello Layers

  • 4 packages (3 oz each) Jello: Grape, Blue Raspberry, Lime, Watermelon
  • 3 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 cup sweet cream coffee creamer, divided
  • 2 cups fat-free vanilla yogurt, divided

Toppings

  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Sprinkles, for garnish
  • Twisty lollipops, for garnish (unicorn horns)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve grape Jello: In a medium bowl, combine the grape Jello with 3/4 cup boiling water. Whisk until fully dissolved to create a smooth mixture.
  2. Cool the Jello: Refrigerate the dissolved Jello mixture until it cools to room temperature, about 20 to 30 minutes. This prevents yogurt from curdling when mixed.
  3. Mix the creamy layer: Stir in 1/4 cup coffee creamer and 1/2 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt into the cooled Jello. Whisk well until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Pour first layer: Spoon the blended mixture evenly into each serving glass. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow this layer to set.
  5. Repeat layering: Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the Blue Raspberry, Lime, and Watermelon Jello flavors, layering each subsequent flavor on top of the previous until all layers are set in their glasses.
  6. Chill completely: After all layers are added, place the glasses in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to ensure the Jello cups are fully set and chilled.
  7. Add toppings: Before serving, top each cup with whipped cream, a sprinkle of colorful sprinkles, and a twisty lollipop as a whimsical unicorn horn garnish.

Notes

  • Allow each layer to set properly before adding the next to maintain distinct colorful layers.
  • Use fat-free vanilla yogurt to keep the dessert light and creamy.
  • Adjust sweetness by selecting flavored or unflavored coffee creamer as desired.
  • Keep Jello layers at room temperature before mixing with yogurt to prevent clumping.
  • Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
