- 48 small pretzel twists or squares
- 24 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
- 24 chocolate melting wafers or Hershey’s Kisses
- Festive holiday sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare: Preheat your oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Arrange pretzels and add caramel: Place half of the pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Set one unwrapped caramel candy on top of each pretzel.
- Bake caramels: Bake the pretzels with caramel for 4–5 minutes, just long enough for the caramels to soften without fully melting.
- Top with pretzels or chocolate: Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Immediately press a second pretzel or a chocolate wafer/Hershey’s Kiss on top of each softened caramel, applying gentle pressure to sandwich the caramel between them.
- Melt chocolate (if using wafers): If you used chocolate wafers, return the tray to the oven for 1 additional minute to slightly melt the chocolate for better adhesion.
- Add sprinkles and cool: Remove from the oven and quickly top each bite with festive holiday sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft. Let the bites cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to set before serving.

- For a variation, try using Rolo candies instead of separate caramels and chocolate wafers for a slightly different texture and flavor.
