Description

This Baked Goat Cheese Bruschetta Dip is a creamy, cheesy appetizer featuring goat cheese, cream cheese, mozzarella, and tangy Greek yogurt baked to bubbly perfection and topped with fresh tomato bruschetta, balsamic glaze, and basil. It’s perfect for serving with grilled crostini or pita for a crowd-pleasing starter.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz. goat cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 grated garlic cloves

Toppings

  • 1 cup homemade or jarred tomato bruschetta (DeLallo brand recommended)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. balsamic glaze
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves

For Serving

  • Grilled crostini or pita

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400ºF to get it ready for baking the dip.
  2. Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the softened goat cheese, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, Greek yogurt, and grated garlic cloves until smooth and well mixed.
  3. Spread Mixture: Grease a 1-quart baking dish or ovenproof skillet, then spread the cheese mixture evenly inside.
  4. Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the dip is warmed through and bubbling.
  5. Add Toppings: Remove the dip from the oven, spoon the tomato bruschetta evenly over the top, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves.
  6. Serve: Serve the warm dip immediately with grilled crostini or pita bread for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure all cheeses are softened to room temperature to ensure easy mixing and smooth texture.
  • If you prefer a milder garlic flavor, reduce the garlic cloves to one.
  • You can prepare the dip a few hours ahead and refrigerate; bring to room temperature before baking.
  • For a lighter option, use low-fat Greek yogurt and mozzarella cheese.
  • Balsamic glaze can be substituted with a balsamic reduction or omit if unavailable.
