Ingredients
Scale
Cheese Cubes
- 170 grams cheddar cheese, cut into 16 cubes
- 170 grams Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 16 cubes
- 170 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into 16 cubes
Biscuit Bombs
- 1 can large refrigerated biscuit dough (16 biscuits)
- 15 milliliters butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Prepare Cheese Cubes: Slice cheddar, Monterey Jack, and mozzarella into 16 equal cubes each and set aside for stuffing the biscuit dough.
- Prepare Biscuit Dough: Open the biscuit can and separate each biscuit. Split each biscuit in half to create 16 pieces, then flatten each piece into a round disc using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Fill Biscuit Discs: Place one cube each of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and mozzarella in the center of each flattened dough disc carefully, ensuring the cheese is centered.
- Seal Dough: Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese and pinch seams tightly to fully seal each ball so that no cheese leaks out during cooking.
- Arrange for Cooking: Place the sealed dough balls in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other. Cook in batches if necessary depending on your basket size.
- Brush and Season: Brush melted butter over the tops of each sealed dough ball using a pastry brush and then sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over them.
- Air Fry: Cook at 175°C (350°F) for 6 minutes or until deep golden brown. Check around 5 minutes as cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model.
- Cool and Serve: Remove the biscuit bombs from the air fryer and let them cool for several minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Make sure to pinch the dough seams tightly to prevent cheese from leaking during cooking.
- Cooking times can vary between air fryers; monitor closely to avoid burning.
- Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce for extra flavor.
- Use fresh mozzarella for better melting and texture.
- Refrigerated biscuit dough brands may vary in size; adjust the number of pieces accordingly to maintain 16 biscuit bombs.
